What: Gillock Competition 2023

Thank you to all our contestants, and to their parents and family who have supported them through all the preparation and practice! This will be a busy day, so please review the schedule and requirements below.

Arrival: DO NOT arrive until your appointed time. You will not be allowed to enter the venue until the previous group is finished. Please be patient as it could run late. Students will perform during their group time. Everyone will be required to stay until the group closes.

Pre-Primary      8:45 am Intermediate I   11:40 am

Elementary I     9:30 am Intermediate II  12:40 pm

Elementary II  10:15 am Advanced I          1:15 pm

Performers: All music MUST be memorized. During the performance, the judges will be hidden, but you will be performing for an audience. The dress code below must be followed, or you may not be allowed to perform.

Girls:  Dresses, skirts or nice jumpers are acceptable. No klanky jewelry, long nails or nail polish.

Boys:  Slacks or khakis, nice shirts are acceptable. No tennis shoes, shorts, jeans or t-shirts.

Awards: Everyone will return at 2:15 pm. The award ceremony will begin at approximately 2:30 pm, followed by a Winners Recital. There is one winner for each division. If a winner is not present, the next person in line will be named winner. All winners will perform. This is an open performance. Anyone is welcome to attend and listen to your child. This is the only Chilton open competition.
